Nathan Brown has served as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Stone Memorial High School for the past five years supporting student-athletes, coaches, and the broader school community. With six years of experience as a high school administrator and athletic director, Mr. Brown is committed to fostering educational environments that prioritize both academic and athletic excellence for students and student athletes. 

Brown views education as a platform for service - approaching his role with a mission-driven mindset centered on positively impacting students, faculty, and community members through interscholastic athletics and extracurricular activities. He values the opportunity to lead with purpose, integrity, and a focus on developing meaningful, lasting experiences for those he serves. 

Experience as a high school golf coach played a significant role in shaping Brown’s leadership style. Through coaching and playing golf, he has developed a strong ability to remain composed under pressure, adapt to challenges, and guide individuals through adversity—skills that continue to influence his work in athletic administration. 

Ultimately, Brown’s leadership approach is grounded in his core beliefs of faith, consistency, and responsibility. Mr. Brown plans to lead with purpose, serve with integrity, and invest in the growth and success of Cumberland County student-athletes through their shared love for interscholastic athletics and extracurricular activities.
